MUSICIANS AND BANDS: Our goal at LRA is to give bands and musicians a place to showcase their music. Every band or musician who joins LRA gets their own web page which is easily created once you login.Once logged in there are simple icons located along the left side beginning with Edit Profile. You'll find a form where we ask for specific information which will be displayed on the page the public sees. This includes your email address, the bands web site (if you have one), as well as an area to describe your band and a place called keywords which are used to search for your band. You can login here as often as you would like to update your info.Next click the Upload Photo's icon to the left. You may upload up to five photos which we suggest you have prepared for web use prior to uploading so they are of a reasonable size. Along the far right side are some radio buttons. We suggest you upload your band logo, if you have one, and use that radio button to set one of the images as your logo. It will appear at the upper left on the band page the public sees.Next, click the Upload Play Dates. Enter the date of your gig, the title, which could be the name of the club where you are playing, a description which may talk about the place, your new band line-up or anything you'd like to have shown on your public page. Next is Upload Music. Select whether its an audio or video track, Put in the name of the Track and a short description and then click add media. You will be asked to point to the music file. Its that simple.Last is Upload Band News which could be any other info you'd like to share with the public.Now, log out and go create your page and then see it in View Band Pages Here. |
